Temporarily disabling phone?

Ive heard that I can temporarily disable a phone (my daughter is getting out of hand). Is this true?

Yes you can suspend it in selfserve in the MOBILE PHONE section although keep in mind that you will still have to pay for her plan while her service is suspended

I hear you, Cue. I have 2 teens too.
If you go to self serve, your choices are only lost or stolen for the suspend service.
I would call customer service to suspend service temporarily. Tell them the reason for suspension - It is not stolen/lost.

Actually you don't need to call in mayumi :) It would be nice to have a option for not lost/stolen though.

I actually posedt an Idea to add "disciplineā€ as a reason for suspension. Hehe.

There is a "Seasonal Hold Plan - Does not include minutes" for $15/month. I haven't used it so can't comment how it works but I guess this would be the answer to these situations?

But if you switch your plan to the seasonal hold, you will have to pick up a new plan when you want your service back.
If you have a old plan tht is no longer offering, you won't get it back... :(
