If I have a phone from Koodo, will it also work on Telus network? is it easily switchable from a koodo plan to Telus plan or vice versa?

Most of the time, yes. I have confirmed that iPhones, BB 10 devices, Windows phones, and the Koodo Desire 601, S4 Mini, and Moto G (probably more too) all work with Telus without needing to unlock because I've tested it myself.

If you're running Android 4.3 or 4.4 can't remember, then APN info seems to auto load into the phone based on the SIM card you put in the phone... But if not, you'll have to put that in to get data and MMS access.

Yup, most are interchangeable. I'd like to add the original HTC Desire (2010) to the list, as well as the LG Optimus One. Both are museum-bound now, but just in case people still have them... (a co-worker is still using a 3GS)
