Telus Phone - Koodoo

My dad gave me a phone that was hooked up with telus how do i get it switched over to my koodoo account? Does he need to do anything?

Hi Chelsea,

The telus account would need to be cancelled, but as for the phone itself you should be able to just put your Koodo SIM card into the new phone as long as they both use the same size.

Does the phone take a SIM Card, if not then it can't be used anymore because it's a CDMA device and there's no network for it anymore.
If it has a spot for a SIM Card then just simply put your Koodo SIM in it and away you go. If your SIM Card doesn't fit then you'll need to purchase a SIM Card that is the proper size for that phone from Koodo and log into your self serve account and under the phone tab you'll see an option to activate your new SIM Card, activate it and pop it in the phone and away you go.
