I hope you realize that Koodo doesn't manufacture phones, right?

Also, as you already know, Koodo is a residential/consumer-centric carrier specifically targeted to the younger and/or less expensive crowd.

If you run a business with your cellphone, then it's Telus you should be using, not Koodo. Simple as that.

Regular and up-to-date backups are good business practices that you should have adopted right from the start. That you carelessly pushed that important fact aside is nobody else's fault but yours.

I'm really sorry this happened to you, but you did not help it by not having a good backup schedule. If it didn't happen to you now, it simply would have happened later on.

Just a reminder: I don't work for Koodo and don't represent them. I'm a customer like 99% of the people on this forum. This was my opinion and mine only.

Why did you have to factory wipe everything due to a sim card (and why did this cost over $55,000)?

If you wiped your device without previously backing up, you will likely be unable to retrieve your data. In fact, most devices will warn you of this before you wipe.

Don't be idiotic, Nicholas, you have a business that suffers $55,000 damage in one day because your SIM card does not work and you have no access to other phones? I call BS. But anyway.

Find a public pay phone and call them. You can reach Customer Service at 1-866-99-KOODO (1-866-995-6636) or 647-788-4337.
Hours of Operation
Monday − Friday: 10am - 9pm
Saturday: 9am - 7pm
Sunday: 9am - 7pm

Or visit a kiosk.

You don't have to factory reset to activate your sim card.
Koodo didn't factory reset for you. You did.
Sorry to hear you lost everything because of it. But you can't blame Koodo, you didn't back up your file.
