Tab Plus.......

I'm looking at the Tab Plus option and I'm not sure if I understand it correctly.

Say I purchase a phone for $500 on the Tab Plus and pay $21/month.  I would then also need to purchase a Canada-wide Tab Plus plan.

If I'm looking at the unlimited talk/text and 1GB plan, I would need to pay $64/month instead of $55/month ($9/month more)

So, for a Tab Plus I'm paying $9/month more for my rate plan + $21/month for my Tab a total of $30/month.  Over 24 months I would have paid $720 towards a $500 tab.

Is my understanding/math correct that I'm paying $220 over two years to borrow $500??  Seems a bit outrageous.

Your math is just about perfect.

This is the cost of asking for a bigger loan.

You will be treated like this at any financial institution.

If you don't want to pay higher interest, then take out a smaller loan! (regular tab)

Or put more down at time of purchase
