Why am I being charged HST for the full amt. of my Tab ($10.00) rather than on the outstanding balance ($7.93), this being the month during which my Tab will be pd. in full?

HST is added to any Tab that you pay.

Have you check out your detailed pdf ebill on self serve?

I understand that the HST is charged on services and products, incl. Tab charges; however, it seems that I am being charged $1.30 - i.e., 13% on $10.00 - in HST rather than $1.03 (on outstanding Tab balance of $7.93, that owed to pay it off completely). Yes, I checked the PDF of May's bill before posting.

What does it say on Page 3 of your pdf ebill?

I realize it's on $0.27, but I don't think I'd be forgiven that amt. if I owed it!

Pg. 3 of the detailed Bill indicates that I am being charged the full amt. of the Tab (Medium @ $10.00/mo.), along with the full HST charge of $1.30 on that amt. I have two phones on this bill, and the other acct. on it still has an outstanding Tab.

The bill doesnt just show HST on each line item.  it needs to all add up.

What are all the line items and the total HST ?

It appears that I am charged for the Tab of $10.00, plus HST on it, and later, credited with $2.07 (though not for the HST on that amt.).

Maybe a screen shot (minus any personal info)  would be more helpful since we cant see your bill

Fr. Pg. 3: monthly and other charges $55.00; total before taxes $55.00; taxes $7.15; total $62.15.

My current plan is $45.00/mo. and the Tab has been $10.00/mo. This month, my Tab balance is only $7.93 though.

Sandy.  Screen shot please. It is very hard to get the full picture when you only tell me 1 line at a time.

Ok so the question is not about HST. HST is calculated automatically.  The question is why is there a $2.07 Upgrades, payoff & Credits charge to your tab.

Did you do any upgrades, or phone/plan changes in the last month or so?

No, nothing....the $2.07 is the difference between the usual Tab charge of $10.00 ea. month and the balance of $7.93 left to pay it off in full. I believe my bill this month should be for $115.18 ($45.00 x 2 for the 2 phones on my acct. plus $4.00 for one of the phone's Tab and $7.93 Tab charge for the other, along with the HST on the $$101.93 total for services and Tab charges(?). The -2.07 should be credited to me, not a further charge.

I would send Koodo a private message via facebook or twitter asking them why an extra $2.07 was added to your tab.  They would be able to look into your account further.

DOnt get caught up on the HST as it will only confuse them.  Your final tab charge should be $7.93 but for some reason they over charged you on your tab for an extra $2.07.
If this was an error, then they will credit you for $2.07 and HST will automatically be considered in that credit when the total is calculated

I have been with Koodo for 10 years now...this is the first time I have ever had any difficulties of any sort!

Thank you for your replies. I do NOT utilize facebook on principle, so won't be contacting Koodo via that route; likewise with Twitter (sick of its misuse!). I'll just visit a Koodo kiosk to have the matter dealt with. I've been having a lot of difficulty lately insofar as online services (esp. with banking). The "bloom is definitely off this rose!!!" lol

The kiosk will just tell you to contact Koodo.

You can try calling koodo.  But be prepared to wait on hold.
You could always create a dummy twitter account.  They do not ask for much personal info compared to fb

Facebook I can understand, especially with the recent breach.  I'm not familiar with "misuses" of Twitter though.  Curious what your objection is to it, @Sandy. No worries if you prefer not to answer, this is just a curiosity on my part.

You can request a callback via https://koodomobile.com/chat so you dont have to wait on hold.
