Switching to data plan- how does it take effect?

I switched my iphone from a talk and text plan to a data plan using the self-serve site. It's been a few days and it hasn't taken effect, is there anything I need to do on my phone to get access to the data plan?

What do you mean when you say it hasn't taken effect, do you mean you don't see it in your self service yet? That usually takes a few days...

But if you can't access data on your phone, you may need to check if your data settings are correct.

Hi there Denning, if you made the change correctly, it takes effect one second after you confirm the changes, so it means, takes effect right away... Make sure you data is on, log in on your Self Serve account again and see if the plan you currently have is the one you wanted... If you don't see the plan, it means that it was not changed successfully...

I meant that I can't access data on my phone, it does show on my self-serve as having changed. I just can't find which setting on my phone need to be changed. Thanks!

I'm not too sure where to find the APN settings on the iPhone, Denning, but I think it might be somewhere under "General settings"?
You need to set it to sp.koodo.com, the exact settings can be found here:

Hi Denning, to enable data on your iPhone, go to Settings - General - Cellular - Cellular Data.
If it still doesn't work, you may have a Block data on your account. Simply give us a call at 1-866-995-6636 from a landline, option #6, and we'll have a look at it!

I have the same problem. Galaxies3 & still shows NoData. What do I do? Im lost
