You can upgrade on the medium tab right now as long as your plan is $30 or higher and it will cost you $57.83 + tax out of pocket at time of purchase for the Nexus 4, a tab charge of $5 will be added to your bill each month for the next 24 months or until your tab is paid off whichever happens first.

Retail Price of Nexus 4 is $300
You can use your available tab to upgrade your phone and you can put up to $300 on your Tab M.
You pay $58(plus tax ) at the store, your tab will be set to negative - $300
There will be $5/month tab charge.

With your current Tab, you can get a $92.17 reduction on the full price of a Nexus 4... so the cost would be $207.83.

If you use a Tab M, then you could get a $242.17 reduction on the full price of a Nexus 4, so the cost would be $57.83. However, with a Tab M you will be paying an extra +$5/month with your monthly plan.

Yes you can as long as your current plan is over 30$, if not you will need to switch plans a medium tabs requires a 30+ plan.

You should only need to pay the 58$ as the Nexus 4 is 300$ as well as the tab medium. then the extra 5$ a month for the medium tab charges.

If you are on the spending cap, you won't be able to upgrade to the Tab M.

Figured I would mention it just in case this was your situation.
