You're not on a fixed term contract. To switch, go and purchase the Nexus 5 then put your sim card into the new phone.

Fixed term contract = locked in for a set amount of time. Breaking said contract has an early cancelation fee. Koodo does not have fixed term contracts.

Hi Arthur, to add to Myke's answer, you can indeed use whatever you paid off/built up in your Tab to purchase the Nexus 5. No need to wait... you can even buy it outright if you can afford it and as Myke said, swap the SIM. Koodo is that easy and flexible :D

Although I am hoping that Koodo will carry the Nexus 5 at launch, there has been no such announcement and no guarantee that Koodo will offer the Nexus 5.

I can't see any reason for Koodo to not sell the Nexus 5. The Nexus line is extremely popular. The Nexus 5 is rumored to be $299 at launch. Koodo would be smart to get the Nexus 5(and would save me a lot of headache).

I don't disagree with you, Myke. I'm just pointing out that the N5 availability or offering has not been announced by Koodo as of this posting. Sophia's answer seemed to indicate that it will be. I didn't want somebody reading this thread to go away with the impression that it would be.

Hahaha! When it comes to Nexus phones, I always get carried away. I sort of assumed Koodo will carry it - otherwise there will be some arm twisting needed and I will make sure to bring in some heavyweights for that :P

So if I were to get the nexus 5 is there any way to transfer the memory from my nexus 4 to the nexus 5?
