I'm going to purchase an iphone 5 soon, but im more interested in buying with telus, because its less money. I know what koodo and telus are practically the same company, but being 14, can I have my own plan with telus? And are there any more problems with this?
thanks so much!

Well... Koodo and Telus (though one owns the other) are not really affiliated in any other way... so you might be better off asking Telus directly.
I'm pretty sure though that with whatever carrier you want to sign up for a plan, you need to be of legal age, which is 18 or 19 depending on the province you live in.
Your only options are either ask one of your parents to sign up for you, or get Telus (or Koodo) prepaid :)

Hello Tay,

You need to be at least 18 years of age to activate a postpaid account anywhere. Otherwise, you need a prepaid account and you will have to pay for the phone full price.
