I am looking to cancel my contract with Rogers,.. however I would like to keep my phone number. Is this a possibility with Koodo ( I am aware of other cellphone companies can do this but there is a charge-I am ok with this.). Also for the new IPhone 5s, is there a possibility of getting a bigger size than the 16 gb?

Of course you can port your number to Koodo :) Unfortunately however, Koodo does not carry any other iPhone than the 16GB versions :(

Yes you can keep your # from rogers. All we need is your old account # from rogers along with the TN #. No charge for this. As for the iphone 5s we only carry the 16GB :(. We'll need 2 pieces of ID as well for the credit check (sin, drivers license,Credit card).I hope this information helps! Keep in mind all activations are done in store.

1. There's a very good chance you can keep your phone #. Use this tool to check:

https://secure.koodomobile.com/checkt...

There's no charge for this, either.

2. No, Koodo only offers the 16GB iPhones. If you want a bigger size, buy it from Apple, bring it over to Koodo and get 10% off any plan and go without a Tab!

Koodo only carries the 16 GB for the 5S.
You can definitely port you number from Rogers. No extra charge.

Just out of curiosity is it illegal against community TOS to mirror previous replies?

Not illegal, just frowned upon. Looking at the times all posts were said, there is roughly a minute or two between them. common mistake that happens a lot. If there was quite a bit of time between responses, then it would be purposely mirroring responses.

No additional fee to keep your number. There are just the regular device subsidy and monthly plan contract cancellation charges.

That would be the only charge I can think of. Cancellation of the contract.

Cancellation charges could be very expensive... :(

True but if you think long term and choose a cheaper plan here (and dont go over your plan), you can make the money back and start saving, like me. I had a couple hundred in cancellation but I eventually made the money back in savings in 6months. And the freedom of not being in a contract feels good too
