I would like to switch from Bell to Koodo as they have much better deal in terms of plans. Unfortunately I have over $300 left on my current Bell account. I was wondering if Koodo is willing to help buy out other companies contacts to bring over a new user. Thanks.

Sorry Brady, Koodo would be happy to sign you up I'm sure, but they won't take over contracts or pay them off I'm afraid...

Nope, sorry. No companies do this. Sales reps might spin bonus gifts/gift cards and free accessories as helping to pay it off, but there'll never an explicit credit towards your cancellation fee with your previous provider.

However if you do the math, the savings might end up paying for itself after a certain amount of time anyway. I just signed up on a boxing week promo (switching from Rogers) and I'll break even after 6 months.

might want to check out eastlink.ca .. that's exactly what they do when you switch... up to 200$ toward bill credit per device.
