I am going to be switching providers and want to keep my current phone number. When I go to the provider and they send the cancellation notice will my remaining tab and any usage charges appear on my final bill? how do I receive my final bill?
If I remember correctly, your Koodo online account remains active for a time after, so you can view your latest bill and pay it. Can't do much else, but that part remains active. I switched from both Koodo and Telus before, and both operated like this. Don't worry. They want their money ;) if something happens and youose access, just give them a call and they'll sort it out for you :)
When you go to your new provider, they will cancel your account with Koodo. Koodo will then (i believe) mail you your final bill with payment options. It is your responsibility to pay this final bill. After that, you are done with Koodo. To make it an easier process, why don't you pay off your current tab right away? You are able to pay it off at any time, and this way you won't really have that much of a shock at the end, because you already paid for your monthly plan.
