Switching from Nexus 5 to Essential.

I'm thinking about ordering the Essential phone online. I believe it will come with a Nano SIM card that I will have to activate. Will I still be able to use my Nexus 5 with its micro SIM card? Or will that card be deactivated? (in that case I'm assuming I can always use the Nano with an adapter on my Nexus 5?)

The new phone will come with a 3 in one Sim. Meaning it can be made into 3 sizes. Once you activate it your old Sim won't be able to be used anymore. Yes you will be able to use the new Sim with an adapter in your nexus 5.

I think it depends if you're just doing a hardware upgrade on tab they'll just ship the phone no SIM.

I'm buying it at retail price. No tab. Does it make a difference?

It is your choice to purchase outright but they’ve been offering some pretty good incentives on tab...also in case you’re interested white colour is now available online. Also android 8.1 update just pushed out today so good timing to pick one up!

Yeah I was reading about the Oreo 8.1 update earlier today. Kinda sweetens the deal!
