Switched postpaid to prepaid- how to cancel account?

I recently switched from monthly to prepaid but I can't tell if my postpaid account was cancelled. I ported my number and used the same email address. My credit card was charged for the prepaid costs but I haven't seen any charges to clear out my tab. I understood my postpaid account would be cancelled automatically but maybe I'm missing a step?

I think you would need to pay your last bill by yourself. I don't know if it will get paid automatically!

They don't send you a final bill right away when you cancelled or switched to prepaid. They will send it to you after the end of your billing cycle. (includes remaining of your tab and overage charges if any)  Then it will be charged on your credit card or you can pay it manually.
You can access your monthly self serve for a few month after you cancelled. So you can check if everything went through.
