I have had a phone with koodo for over 5 years. Last April I got a samsumg galaxy ace 2x with a $30 talk/txt/data package. This past December I added another samsumg galaxy ace 2x phone to my account with a $40 talk/txt/data package for my husband. Is is possible to switch the phone numbers for the packages?

Yep you can do so for free on self serve.; Click Mobile phone and change number. Otherwise customer service will charge you $25 per telephone # change. Keep in mind this will also cause proration on your bill.

You can change the plan for your line to the $40 Price Plan and you can downgrade his plan to the $29 price plan via self serve.

But you did mention you use data so I'd suggest the $42 500MB 500 minute plan for your #

Change his plan to the $29 plan.
Change your plan to the $42 plan.
It is an overall increase by $1/month
You both get what you want, sort of...
If memory serves, the $40 plan has unlimited incoming. That is not included in the $42 plan.

My daughter using koodo service more than 4 years. Recently she moved to QC to study. However, when she went to Koodo store in Montreal tried to change the plan, the koodo store people ask her to change the phone number saying that if not change the number, she couldn’t make phone calls.

Then,

1.    The phone number has been changed without my permission.

2.    They have increased tax on this service based on the new phone number, why?

3.    I’m the one who still own this phone and account which I’m still living in Ontario and paying the bills every month. Could someone tell me how we can correct this mess?

Call customer service *611 from your Koodo phone or dial 1-866-995-6636. Option 5 or keep pressing 0 to get a rep.
