Please help me find how you switch from data downloading system storage to the USB storage. I would like to change my setting for my music and pictures. I have a Samsung S2. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

If I understand correctly you are download music/pictures from the interent and would like to change the storage location?

If this is the case it is likely a setting from within whatever app you are using to download, so what are you using to download your picture/ music onto the device?

Yes you are correct for the music, I am using simple mp3 downloader. The pictures for the most part, I take with the camera on the phone. However, I do download wallpapers and audio clips from Zedge

I used that Simple Mp3 as well and I was unable to find a way to change the destination folder. I'll keep looking.

Hey Sherryl, you can also contact the manufacturer of the phone. They may have the answer that you seek.

If you see a good answer, give it a star.

To change your picture storage location to your SD Card enter your camera and press the settings icon, then scroll to the bottom and where it says storage press it and choose External/SD Card.

Music downloading if can't be done within the app your using you need to download a file management app like powergrasp (this is the one I use) or another that may be easier if needed and transfer the music files manually after downloaded to your internal storage.

Here's a link to the one I use Powergrasp https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...

Find the files and tap the mutiselect icon at the top and choose all the files you wish to move.
Then swipe the screen from right to left and it will bring up a second Window.
press the up a level icon and you'll see external SD Card press it.
Then you can paste straight there or better yet create a folder in there and open it and paste the files there.
If after this is done your music player app can't find the files just turn the phone off and back on again and they should then be visible.
Hope this helps. :-)
