I am a new subscriber and forget how I can suspend my service while I am out of the Country. I live abroad but use this service when I am back home. I couldn't find in the site how this works and of course left my agreement back in Canada! :-(. Thanks for any information you may have!
Log in to self-serve and change your plan to seasonal hold -- $15 per month if that is what you wish. Current plan will be lost and your number and SIM stay valid for up to 6 months. When you are ready to return, just switch your plan back to something that is available at that time.
Dear Bob, thanks for your response! I am quite surprised about the $15 monthly charge as I specifically asked about this since I am in Canada for only limited periods. I will have to try and get a number of the place where I subscribed to get some clarification. The problem is the options are so limited when you live abroad but need you need a mobile when you are home. I used to have Chatr and went through too many phone numbers for forgetting to put money on after a certain period of time. In the end though it would be cheaper than the $15.00 a month Koodo will charge!
