I will be in the USA until April, 2014. I have a US Sim card through AT&T and will not use my Koodo Sim card until April. I want to keep my same telephone number with Koodo.
Can you suspend my account, keep it on hold, or whatever, until I return. I am disinclined to want to pay $42/month for a service I don't use.

Thank you for your reply.

Sure you can. You can log into your account and put your phone what koodo calls 'seasonal hold'. All the info is here:

$15 a month will hold your number.

yes . for 15$ a month you can use koodo's suspend service . its a ' no service ' plan for an account . you get to keep your number . no issues. it will still be in use and being billed -but no coverage .
(usually suspended numbers do get promo sms and advertisement messages ) which does not require a reply.i have seen this in most euro-asian countries even if you can not call or text .)

when you come back you will have to simply forget about the plan you have had and get a new plan activated . you can not get same plan after you suspend service for almost six month . its highly unlikely that koodo has the same plan available anyways :(
hope this helps

If you have no outstanding Tab you can even port your number out to SpeakOut, who will keep your number alive for up to a full year for a mere $25.

When you come back, you can pick a Koodo plan and port your number back in.
