Survey Issue and Question.

I took an SMS survey from Koodo today.. The last question was:

"Do you consent to Koodo using your answers along with information we have related to your account to help improve customer experience. Reply 1-2 (1= Yes, 2= No)"

I was not able to reply "1", because- "along with information we have related to your account" is super vague.

My question is for the more experienced of the Mobile Master Class:

What information RELATED to my account has Koodo/Telus been collecting?? Please describe what is being collected and what information they "have related to" my account. Please describe any and all information that is being or has been collected (other my account number and contact details). Also, where/how are they getting this "related" information??

NOTE: If anyone answers, something vague like "various sources" or "nothing". I will be severely disappointed in your deflection of the actual questions. That is deception, plain and simple. I really couldn't be more specific about what I NEED to know. If you do not know, please do not reply.
To the knowledgeable masters who will provide the answers, I thank you ahead of time.

All mobile masters share the same knowledge just incase you weren't aware. And as for what they are collecting is payment history not directly related to you just the raw data of it. As well as what type of service you use, do you use data, do u text more than call. It's nothing that can harm you in any way. To share that information would be illegal

Thank you kind sir. I was not aware. I'm just used to Google, Facebook and app developers intruding on my privacy on a daily basis.. It would literally take years on end to read every word in every user agreement that gets a clicked checkbox. I'm glad that common sense is being used. As a service provider you are priviledged with a ton of sensitive information, I'm glad that respect is being shown. Koodo for the WIN. Every time.

There may be other things that I didn't cover but should fall under the same idea. There are MM that are more knowledgeable in more ways than the next guy but we all share the same passion for helping customers that have questions. Glad I could help :)

Thank you for the full disclosure. I would love if anyone with any further info could chime in. I am no longer concerned, however. Thanks again.

I think you would need to worry way more about what Google and Facebook collects then your cellphone provider. I think we must get used to it
