Why is my phone shut off?

Thank you Koodo! For shutting off my phone when I am stuck in a snow storm really appreciate all your great help!! NOTTT! I wouldn't have got my new phone or stuck with you guys if I knew this was going to happen to me today

The only way your phone would be shut off is if you've reached your spending limit, if your on a spending limit program or if you haven't paid your bill in a couple months. In these instances it would be your fault not Koodo's.
Are you sure it's cut off? I mean you said your in a snow storm are you sure your just not getting reception where you are?
Either those or your phone works and you've accidentally put it in airplane mode or accidentally set it to 2g only or the phone just needs a reboot, have you tried the simple things like turning it off and back on or removing the battery for a minute then replacing it and trying again (if the battery is removable on your specific device)

Well said Paul, perhaps the above poster could start to think ahead of snow storms etc.
After all, we alone are responsible for our own destinies to a large degree :)

Also, despite what the o.p. appears to believe, Koodo does not track your whereabouts, nor do they track the weather at that location.
