phone chooses randomly when it will, or will not ring. I have gone through possibly 5 different phones with this same issue... multiple sims. multiple restarts. I use this phone to run a emergency service company and if it wont ring what good is this? From purely a business perspective i may have to switch providers for the well being of my company unless i hear some good reason why this keeps happening. All day my employee tried to call me but it just kept going to voicemail. Didn't ring or show me that he was calling. Anyone else with this issue?

Considering the relevance of this issue and the importance of having yiur ohine ringer on and your incoming calls are being directed to voucemail and the fact you have tried several carriers and phones I would tend to think you are in an area if the building where their us quire a lit of concrete in the building which does prevent the adequatevsignal to reach and ring your phone. I woukd also think your voicemail messages have a delay as well.

I'm with Wayne here. How is your signal/coverage?

ive had one galaxy ace, 2 htcs, 2 nexus 4s, 2 nexus 5s, and i'm currently on a note 2.

I have not tried different carriers, been with koodo for years.

These problems have also come when i'm in town, and have completely full service

And this issue occurs on 5 different phones?

And you have also ruled out sim card issues and have gotten a new sim and the issue still occurs?

yup. replaced sims every new phone and a couple times in between just to see if it was the culprit. this note 2 seems to be the worst yet... so that makes me feel like it may be a phone issue rather then the provider.... however my phone sees 5 times the usage now that i take business calls on it as well, so maybe it is just more apparent now.

almost makes me wonder if my call waiting is messing up sometimes also. i spend a staggering amount of time on my phone.

If it has happened on 5 diff phones and on multiple sims then I would rule out phones or sims as the issue. Are you sure you get a good signal throughout the day when this happens?

Have you been able to replicate the issue under full observation?

When you come down to Edmonton does this occur normally?

Does the issue happen in McMurray or on 63 to site? When I was there I had no issues in McMurray but coverage was spotty and calls went to voicemail around the Fort McKay Industrial Park or further North at the Aurora site

there are tons of dead spots around here, but i hardly leave town anymore and have taken all that into consideration. i used to assume it was due to spotty service but then it started happening while i'm sitting at my desk and the phone is beside me. and lately i get random voicemails all day long when i haven't even left town and its getting out of hand.

If you can clearly reproduce the issue (use a land line to call your cell) and see that it goes straight to voicemail but you clearly see it has a network connection, I would call Koodo and speak with tech support. It could be an issue on their end.

I am facing exactly same issue with Koodo I have note 2. Unfortunately I have email Koodo thrice and request them to give me a call but they didn't. I went to Devonshire Mall Kiosk (Windsor ON) and I find my self embarrassed with the customer service I received by Koodo rep. I Called Koodo again and they told me to email store number, manager name, number and rep name. I did went to Koodo Kiosk again she gave me the detail except manager's number. I emailed Koodo but still I haven't call any call back from Koodo.

P.S - I am facing exactly same issue for more than a month

I have 4 connection with Koodo at same address but only have issue with 1. Rest all are working great. I did sim change, send for repair, troubleshooting, reset the system everything.... Now they will be sending new phone to my home which is great (hopefully it will solve my issue) but I am not happy they way I receive customer service.

I have this problem as well, I just switched from a samsung galaxy s3 to a note 2 a couple weeks ago it was working fine and since this week i have had people say they cannot reach me cause it goes to voicemail. I was waiting for a call from my doctor and had my phone right beside me and it did not ring i just heard the sound for a notification and i picked up my phone to check it and it said i had a new voicemail and it was from my doctor....phone did not ring or anything. My mother tried calling me and said it went to voicemail too. I called my cellphone from my home phone and I got the voicemail as well (my phone was sititng beside me and did not ring). Called Koodo and they had me check some things on my phone which were all set to off they did some kind of update for the signal on their end and are suppose to call me back tonight....but now i'm having a problem to make calls....keeps saying "Dialing" for awhile and then says "Call ended".

@Victoria Marie.... I am in exactly same position. I upgraded my phone from S3 to Note 2 and since then I am facing this issue. Exactly I did try to call on my number from my wife's cell number (Which is also Koodo) but it went on voicemail even both phones were on my hands.
I think there is some issue with Note 2. Koodo will be sending me another Note 2 and I will see if it can solve me issue and If not then I will call Koodo again and ask them to give me S3 again because if this happens again I won't be trusting Note 2 again.
@Victoria... Thanks for sharing your story :) I hope our problem will be solved soon.

I have the same problem with my Note 2, sent it back to Koodo 3 times and Samsung six, it is at Samsung right now but my warranty is up in June so I will have to get another phone cause I'm pretty sure it will still be faulty, the note2 is a mini tablet not a phone.

I was getting constant calls from a particular telemarketer who had no caller ID. I blocked all such calls. That got rid of the telemarketer, but there were people I did want to speak with who also blocked their caller IDs and they were all going directly into voicemail. I took the block off and their calls are now ringing through. I wish there was a way to just block specific numbers.

you can, but if they block their caller id, it's hard to block their "number"
