You can do this yourself on Self Serve by going to the payment method section and taking off the pre-authorized option. If you're having trouble, call customer service during business hours at *611 from your Koodo device or 1-866-995-6636 from any phone.

I actually like having a pre-authorized option. I never forget to pay, it's never late, and it forces me to budget around it.

I double checked on my own pre-auth and it seems as if I can change between chequing and credit card but I don't seem to be able to remove it. Hmm. Perhaps an idea is in order?

You deserve the credit for the idea Jonathan. Post it. It can't be such big deal to put in a radio button to turn of pre-authorized payments.

A search reveals that Dennis L already posted the idea about a month ago so I starred his idea/revived the topic. Sumaya says that it's being considered already. Good news!

I called the number, but i cant get the option where i get to choose to talk to a rep or disable pre authorized payments. its like everything is done through the machine.
I've Chosen additional options (Press 3) and Manage (5). but 5 has nothing related to what i need disabled. and 3 is for changing or adding pre authorized payments, then i tried adding a new pre authorized payment thinking it will send me to a Rep, but it just asks me to enter my card number as if the machine will do it all lol.

Just press zero next time you call when they are open. Probably during the day. First punch in your number then the zero after selecting stuff relating to your account. You will be able to talk to a rep.
