I want to upgrade my plan to the current special offer of $60/month for 3GB with a bonus 3GB for 24 months, why can’t I choose this option? I am a current monthly customer.

Do you currently have a large tab? If so you need to pay off your tab in full before you can change your plan

It's our plans right now .. that's weird ? Call customer service to ask them about the plan because you do not see it on your self serve

OK, that's why.  I'm in Ontario. 8GB for current customers in Ontario is $85/month

It applies only when buying a phone. You might be able to get it with a new activation and bringing your own phone as well some say.

So really what Koodo is saying is new customers are of more value than those that have been customers for years and if I want to upgrade my plan I should go elsewhere?

No you can upgrade your phone and get the plan if you are a current customer it's not for new customers only. It's an incentive to push more upgrades and is totally reasonable IMO.

It's unfortunate that new customers are often given the best offers.  I feel the same way about banks.  They'll offer new customers $300 to open an account or give them a free iPad or some other incentive but no reward for being a good customer for 25 years.  Thanks for the help.

Yes is they buy a phone. I dont think she wants to buy a phone. A new customer might get it on a BYOD too is all I was saying.

I don't need a new phone.  I have an unlocked phone I bought outright from Apple.  I just want to upgrade the plan without having to go to another provider.  I've been with Koodo for about 10 years, three phones currently.

The only people that could do something is Koodo itself. Give them a call and be polit about this and maybe they will give you the plan.
