someone stole my prepaid phone I bought last year what can I do?!

i had my purse stolen while i was eating out with a friend and my phone was in it! I use my phone so much and i thought i saw that i could get my phone back for free? please help!!

If your phone has an active data booster, has a gmail account registered and data is on, try http://android.com/devicemanager

Sorry to hear that, Shannon! Hopefully Timo's suggestion works for you. If not, sadly you may need to buy another phone :( However not everything is lost, since nobody can access your own prepaid online account.

You'd need to buy a new SIM card and activate that on your account. Not only does that preserve your number, but the person who stole your phone won't be able to use up your minutes and data (hopefully they haven't yet).

Just to add: If you buy a prepaid phone from Koodo, you won't need to purchase a sim card as it comes with one
