So, just got off the phone (43 min) with a Koodo rep in ElSalvador regarding my International Long Distance Add on

Really upset that I was not notified of the increases in long distance rates, and only saw them after opening this months bill. The rep was pleasant enough, but to increase the rate from.05 cents a minute to .15 cents a minute and then to be told it was going to .50 cents a minute effective March 22 is disgraceful! My plan is 500 Min, 500 Meg data, Unlimited Messaging and International Long Distance Add on.

After 43 minutes I did, but that still does not address the blatant rate increases without any notification. Seriously, from .05 cents a minute to .50 cents a minute, plus the $3.00 a month add on. My concern is how many people who do not check their bills or run up a huge bill and then have to spend 43 minutes on the phone, and that was after arranging a "Call back". I'm still angry about this and waiting for a reply to my email from Koodo, I'm also considering reporting this to the CRTC as they say on their site (CRTC) that changes have to be explained 30 days before implementation, if I read it correctly, on their site.

Just had a really constructive chat with a manager from Koodo. Due to the Easter weekend starting tomorrow he will be getting back to me early next week, which I feel is only fair. Watch this space for further updates and have a safe and happy Easter everyone!

So, I have just recently talked with Koodo and after a very constructive conversation the issue has been resolved amicably. In all honesty I was surprised at the personal attention that my issue generated. All I ask is that questions of how we resolved this not be asked out of courtesy to myself and my privacy. Thank you.

It was a system error and customers who already had the add on should never have been switched to the new pricing.
