SMS/MMS service stopped?

I have the unlimited text/sms service. Prior to this I had no problems accessing the mms or sending them.

I tried switching out the default messaging app on my phone to no avail - it will not let me access the attached or converted mms.

What gives?

You need data turned on to send/receive MMS regardless of which app you use. I do know that a select few apps have a disclaimer that they won't work for MMS so you should be careful. Which app are you using?

Just the standard Galaxy Note 2 Messenger app. It was working fine last week. I suspect something happened when my phone finally auto-updated the OS?
