You can send an email via (your cellphone number)@msg.koodomobile.com.

Keep in mind that Koodo doesn't guarantee this 100%. Also the message will be MMS so your data will need to be on.

It's still available http://koodomobile.com/en/on/sendames...

You will be able to send the message but they cannot reply to it (or if they do it goes to no one)

It's there, but I don't think it's working anymore. I just tried it and didn't receive the message. Mind you my battery is almost dead so I can't keep the phone on. Haven't charged it in four days.

Read my post below. All of those methods are working -tried all of them before posting.

Okay, so now I got the message. Only 5ish hours late. But, again, I haven't had the phone on for more than an few minutes all day.

I've tried suggestion from Curtules but does not work. Using chat through gmail no longer works either.

Did you put the brackets in? If so, try without, it's just supposed to have the numbers, no dashes either. And, again, make sure data is enabled to allow MMS.

The receiver needs to have their data enabled for this to work, since it is an MMS (picture message)

Look at all these responses...
It's number@msg.telus.com (yes, for Koodo) ; 5871234567@msg.telus.com and NO, it won't be delivered as an MMS, it'll be an SMS coming from 999-999-9999.
and http://koodomobile.com/en/ab/sendames... or http://www.telus.com/en/ab/mobility/s... or http://msg.telus.com/msg/1.1/in_senda...
PS: I tried all of these with a Koodo line, not TELUS.

Thank you Telus Guy, I've used your first suggestion and worked perfectly. Thanks again

BTW (old thread, I know...) why is the message sent to xxxxxxxxxx@msg.koodomobile.com ALWAYS an MMS (implying data HAS to be on) and the xxxxxxxxxxx@msg.telus.com a normal SMS (as it SHOULD be)?
I think Koodo needs to change the format to match Telus' .

Thanks Telus Guy, you helped me configure my alarm system messaging to work without data being on...which was a PITA.
