SMS are taking too much time to be sent

Since about two weeks, I have noticed that my SMS are taking many seconds or minutes to be send. The receiver often receives duplicates of my SMS.

I have an Essential with the latest security patch.

Try doing a power cycle followed by a "Network Reset". If still buggy, reconnect to the network by "Automatic selection" in the settings.

How is your network connection?  Are you getting this issue with full bars?

It's a random issue. Sometimes message is sent instantly, sometimes it takes over than 2 minutes. Pretty annoying. And issue it not related to network reception; it doesn't matter.

It's hard to diagnosis when the issue is random.
Your options are to try a different device to see what happens, try a new sim, try a new messaging app, complete a factory reset on the device.
Each of these will help eliminate a potential cause of the issue, until we can narrow down the cause to one possible source

What have you tried so far to se if it gets fixed?

If the above advised doesn't work, it could be an issue Koodo side. You can try sending a private message to Koodo via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter or call 611 for technical support and see if there's something they can do that'll make it go away.
