Anyone else having trouble with BBM and text messaging delivery?
Last few days here in Windsor both have been very slow.

The last message I sent via bbm was 15 minutes ago, and it has not been delivered. Yes the others person's device is on.

Well Tech seems to think that it is a RIM network problem. There was a delay sending a PIN message to my own phone.
I am not 100% convinced it is. 2 of 5 people I know on BBM are having and issue. 3 of that 5 are on Koodo, two of them are having a problem.
It's a "wait and see" thing now I guess.

Out of curiosity, what did that tech agent get you to do?

They asked me to:
pull the battery and sim card,
Clear the log file on the phone
re-register the device with RIM
send a PIN message to my self, it took a long time too
"Nothing more we can do, it must be a RIM problem"
I am going to call again today and try to get past the 1st line of support on this.

If the issue cannot be fixed over the phone, the process is usually to send a ticket to another team to check the network, not blame someone else...

The 3 of us all have Curve 9320. All less than 6 months old. All on Koodo.

same issue for me. how was it solved. bbm is so slow and can take up to an hr to deliver

It has NOT been resolved.
I have been putting up with the problem, cause I don't need Koodo support asking me to pull the battery and Simm card for 2 minutes and try again. This helps for about 2 minutes and we are right back to the same thing again.

Ask to speak to a supervisor. Explain that you've already attempted the first level of tech support and that it didn't work. Be persistent but polite and you'll get there. Tech support has to walk you through all the steps at least once, and since they've already done the first steps, there should be a note on your account.
