I just bought my prepaid Koodo phone It is a Samsung Galaxy Discover. I activated everything OK, but when I went to put the SIM card in the phone it does not fit the space provided. When I have other cell phones in the past the SIM cards fit perfectly. This one isn't even close.. Did anyone else experience this problem after on-line activation? Suggestions?

Make sure you're not trying to insert the sim card into the micro SD slot. Check the documentation for the correct place to insert the sim.

The slot is apparently located under the battery.

The gold contacts should be facing the phone.

Thanks for the reply. Yes that is exactly where I tried to insert the SIM card... underneath the battery.... The SIM they included is much bigger and a different shape than that space marked SIM.

I plan on returning to the retailer where I purchased the phone and minutes from yesterday. This is just plain weird.

I was hoping to fix this at home, but apparently that will not happen.

They might have provided you the wrong sim card.
Go back to the retail and get it replaced!!

While I don't have a problem being sarcastic to somebody who is being generally obnoxious, I don't think the initial sarcasm was necessary for somebody trying to be helpful, nor was the supporting laugh by Paul.

I don't follow Xavier's comments enough to know if repetition of something already posted is an ongoing issue, but if it is, there are other ways to have approached the situation.

Guys, guys :) Let's not make a mountain over a mole hill :) In the past, petty arguments like this could get blown out of proportion really quickly, let's leave it at this now huh :)

Well being imperfect as I am I will apologize to Xavier for my first statement but in the same breath, no this is not the first such incident it's just the first time I got frustrated by it. A pet peeve of mine is parroting. No offense intend just wanted Xavier to be aware of what he's reading.
