Sim card pin

Listen I have a Koodo sim card and it was in a lg x power phone. Now my phone broken but I have a ZTE unlocked phone. When I pop the sim card in other phone it's asking me a sim card pin which I have no idea what it is. How do I talk to someone to get pin or why the hell does it have a pin when I bought the phone and it's my sim card

A SIM PIN is usually set by the phone / SIM user to protect the SIM from being removed from one phone and used in another. If you have not set a PIN on the SIM, you can contact Koodo, and ask if a PUK code will help you out.
