I have an unlocked LG Optimus G Pro E980. When I entered the phone's IEMI into Koodo's website, it found my phone and said it should be compatible. I have now purchased a prepaid sim card and put it in the phone but it is not connecting to a network. How can I get this SIM card to work??

Have you activated the prepaid sim? You can do that in the prepaid self serve.

Yes, I've activated the sim and added Koodo's APN info - but when I try to locate a network, all I can find is Rogers

Are you sure it's e980? You'd need e985 or the AT&T model for it work with Koodo.

It is listed as an e980 - specs show: Network: 2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G: HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 - for AT&T 4G:LTE 700 MHz Class 17 / 1700 / 2100 - for AT&T

Alright so it should work. Don't see what else could be wrong.

It's possible but not common.

Another thing to check before replacing the SIM is make sure you have 3G enabled in your cellular settings. It should read WCDMA /HSPA (auto) or something along those lines.

Yes - mine is set to GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto. I was reading through some other forums, and one seemed to indicate that Koodo doesn't work with a GSM only phone - that Rogers is the only GSM only network - is that the case? But AT&T is GSM. . .?

Yes, Rogers/Fido are the only ones who use 2G but your model supports the 3G bands Koodo uses so I suspect something else is wrong.
