Signal poor - switched from prepaid to plan

I switched from an old Blackberry on Koodo prepaid to a brand new iPhone 6s with a plan. Since I switched, I constantly lose signal and the call ends. It’s frustrating when I’m trying to make doctor appointments and have to call back 6 times to finish making the appointment.

Have you tried to reboot your phone?

Well that would suck!

Welcome to life! One of my vehicles allows me to easily listen to radio stations the whole way between my town and the next. The other doesn't. In one vehicle, I have to sing to myself.... that REALLY sucks.

The older generations of equipment (Blackberry, Nokia, etc) were hands down better at actually receiving phone calls on relatively thin networks since that was all that mattered. Now most of these rigs are sold on processor speed, memory, camera, etc. where the user is never very far away from a decent signal. If the antenna has to be shortened so as to not mess up the aesthetics, then so be it apparently.

Those of a certain vintage will remember there was a certain amount of stink that Apple put up with in terms of initial iPhone reception and users "inadvertently covering the amntenna during calls".

@Brian and that helps her fix her mobile phone problem how?

Don't fix her problem but suggest another service that costs her more $. Are you sure you're not their sales rep?
