I have been a Koodo customer for 7 years with 3 phones on my account. The last few years all of us have gotten warnings by text message that our data has reached 50% and again at 80%. Now that they are advertising it for new plans only....we no longer get these messages. I have been with them so long, I've recommended them to countless people. Now I regret it. Also, they used to send a text reminder if a bill was behind. With 2 babies I forgot, I got no text message and they billed me 35 dollars for it. I will leave and never recommend them again. Where is the loyalty for the existing customers? What do I get for paying for 3 phones for 7 years?

Unless you shut notifications off at some point you should still be getting those messages. I think recently they changed the Thresholds but you still get the messages to the primary phone on the account.

With shock free data plans, the data access is cut once you reach 100% and you get a message to allow the pay-per-view use rate or not.
