Shock Free Data and Pre-Auth Billing Issues

Looking at my bill, I've been dinged with $5 in data overage. I got the text saying I had reached 100% of my data but nothing about it being paused or okaying overage. I have a new plan so definitely have Shock Free Data. Also, I have pre-auth set up but apparently it didn't charge me for my last bill so now I'm being him with late payment charges. I'm a new customer... this definitely isn't reassuring.

Are you sure the $5 charge is for a data overage and not something else? Have tou checked page 3 of your ebill to confirm this?

When it comes to pre-authorized payments, usually you have to do the first one manually, then it will automatically be paid the next time around.

Are your Notifications on in self serve...if they are off then so is shock free data.

Hmmmm.....Brittany, did you set up pre-auth payment when you activated? The folks at the booth should have mentioned that the first payment likely would have to be a manual one as it sometime takes a full cycle for the automated one to kick in. I also see that your plan was only set to notify not to block. I have fixed that now. I'll have both the late fee of about a dollar and the five dollar charge reversed. Can you pls make a payment today though to avoid any possible disruption of service? Please accept my sincerest apologies for the troubles Brittany!
