The older phones (CDMA), the ones that do not have a SIM card will work in Longlac, but the phones that have SIM cards will not.

According to Koodo's coverage map, it appears that 4G/LTE coverage is minimal for Longlac. When I look at a cell tower map, all I see is one TBayTel tower located near Picnic Point Road.

Looking at TBayTel's coverage map, Longlac appears to have adequate 4G HSPA coverage. A SIM enabled phone should work in this region on their network. TBayTel is 'powered' by Rogers. I'm not certain if TELUS has a tower sharing agreement with them.
