Self-Serve Registration Problem

I just received my SIM card (ordered online) and am trying to activate it online. I have never had service with Koodo before. The little colourful page that came in the envelope instructed me to register for Self Serve. When, having registered, I attempt to log in to Self Serve, I get:

"You're still waiting to be approved

Looks like this account has already been linked to another email address. You're still waiting for permission from the owner of that email address. We'll email you once you're approved."

I don't know what I did to cause this, but--more importantly--I don't know what to do to fix it. I've consulted Help without finding anything useful. What should I do? (NB: I don't have FB or Twitter.) I really want to activate ASAP.

You should have received an email from Koodo with a link to register. The account has to be set up using the link in the email.

It's likely just a bit delayed.
You can contact Koodo to help you sort this out. If you don't have fb or Twitter you can give them call.

I would call them. If the sim wasnt sent already activated you will need to call them. Post paid sims cant be activated online. They should also be able to fix your self serve registering problem. Or maybe a rep will stop by here and be able to fix that.

It happened to me as well. I called and was finally put through to the right department after 45 min.
Just call this number.

That didn't last. Following the email's instructions, I tried to register for Self Serve, but since I already tried that, it won't let me, using that email address (which is the one I used to order the SIM card, sign up for the Refer-a-Friend thing...). AND I still can't log in. 
Help! :-(

Hang tight - let me see if I can detach the temporary account you created (before the account was active), and attach it to the new one.
You'll likely get an email flagging your email has been updated (with an address that isn't yours), and a second one asking you to create your profile again.

I just got an email about the username change, and then two about completing my Registration. Is it safe for me to click on the blue "Complete your registration now" in my email or do I need to wait for something else?

Use the last (newest) email to register - that should work.
