Self Serve account creation and log in?

Hello,

I am a new Kooko customer. I was told to download and use the "Kooko Self Serve" app to track my usage. I have been unable to create an account. When trying to do it on my Iphone 6 it wouldn't allow me to select a security question. I then created an account at work but when I signed in all it would let me do was change my sign in info and wouldn't let me view my account. It still wont let me log in on my phones app and says "The account manager for this account needs to approve your request for access."? Am I doing something wrong or is the app not working at the moment?

Hi Bradley,

The best and easiest way to get Self Serve working is by signing up at www.koodo.com/selfserve

It works better than the app, personally I find that the app okay for quick information but not anything extensive. You will need your account number, an email address and the name that the phone is registered under to be able to setup the account.

This is how I finally created my account, but even online through my desktop I am limited as to what I can see as the page for monthly customers doesn't exist apparently. When I try to log onto the App it is still saying "The account manager for this account needs to approve your request for access.", I have selected the link in the email that was sent to my email address to activate my account and it now says it has expired because I have done so already.

Sound like you created your self serve account as an manager instead of an owner. You will need to call customer service *611 from your koodo phone. They will fix it quickly. Just let them know you can't log into your self serve
Once you created it, you can access your app easily.
The app is great to tracking your usages as Mathieu mentioned. :)
