Security questions by Koodo..

Hello,
All of the new customers must pass security questions from Koodo or suspend service?
even though required IDs (Driver's licence & Credit card)given when activated...
I feel kinda bad.....

Not quite sure I understand the question but ALL customers have some sort of security question to be asked. Most give the PIN number created at the time of activation. If that is not correct then the questions would be the date of birth, Driver's lisence/last four numbers of credit card/SIN, and address

Driver's lisence...last four numbers of credit card...SIN.....just one of those is required, assuming it's on the account

Inititally, they are used to prevent any for of fraud on the account. There is no reason for Koodo to suspend service if the security questions are not answered correctly, either. The only way an account can be suspended if security is involved is if there are a lot of international call within the first few days of service.

Hi there, we would indeed need a bit more info in order to answer your question :)
To open an account with us, you need to provide:

• Full legal name
• Current address
• Contact phone numbers
• Date of birth
• Photo identification if activating at a retailer or kiosk

Plus any two of the following:

• Permanent/Temporary Canadian Social Insurance Number (optional, but preferred)
• Canadian major credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express)
• Canadian Driver's license

Is there a way to get them to ask a different security question? They keep asking for my driver license number but that isn't working.

I am trying to registry for self serve. Immediately after entering my Name and number it asks for my drivers license number but it keeps saying that it doesn't match their records.

Have you recently changed provinces since you originally set up the account or for some reason provided someone else's driver's license?
If the answer is NO for both then I would give Koodo a call for them to help set up the account. There should've been another option for entering your PIN number for Koodo. If not, then follow my suggestion
