You need to call Koodo at *611 from your Koodo phone or 18669956636 in order to place yourself on seasonal hold. And thats only if you're travelling abroad.

Once you return, you must choose a new plan thats offered at that time

Why can't Koodo just put a tab on their website for Seasonal Hold. This is Bulls**t. An hour on hold just to suspend service on my phone. I go through this every winter I go to Florida. I'm ready to switch providers.

You can park your number at for $2 /month plus $5 porting. I assume that's in US dollars. 3 months seasonal hold would be $ 11 US or $14 CAD. Koodo charges $45 for 3 months, a saving of $31. I really don't want to go through the hassle of cancelling Koodo for 3 months. I think I'm going to start looking for another provider.
I have been trying to place my plan on seasonal hold. I can’t get any help from Koodo. I have called numerous times to be placed on hold for long periods of time and no answer. I have tried self serve. And I have sent numerous Facebook messages. Where do I go from here? Very frustrated!!!

Awaiting an answer on the phone is the only way just now. Try calling first thing in the morning for the shortest waits.
Thanks, David. I tried early morning numerous times yesterday. I think that waitin one hour on a cell phone not acceptable. I would like to think my time is as valuable as theirs. As much as I like
Koodo and especially self service, this is the second year that I have to go through this nonsense. It might be time for me to start searching for another service providers.
