Seasonal hold plan for a new Koodo user

I'm leaving for a three-week vacation to China and have only been with Koodo for a few days, so I'm unable to put it on seasonal hold since I haven't had an active account for a month. Is there any other way I can put voice/text/etc services on hold to avoid extra charges while I'm overseas?
