Top right corner is nothing but saying searching. I can't message or call nor incoming. I've restarted my phone, took out the SIM card and put it back in. I'm getting super upset trying all these options and nothing seems to be fixing this

Are you in a location where you are certain service is available? If so, it is possible your SIM is bad and needs replacement. If you do not know someone who is a Koodo / Telus subscriber with whom you could test-swap your SIM, the simplest step might be to stop by a Koodo shop and ask them to check for you.

Login to self serve.  Is everything paid up?  Did your baseplan expire?

David is on the right track, try your SIM in at least 2 other devices and try your friends/family SIM in yours. Try also to RESET the network settings (iPhones) or RE-REGISTER on the network (Android).

If their SIM works on your phone but your SIM doesn't work in theirs: replace the SIM

If their SIM DON'T work on your phone but your SIM works in theirs: replace your cell.

If their SIM work on your phone and your SIM also works in theirs: CONTACT KOODO.

What phone do you have? I've been having the same issue for the past week with my iPhone 6s. I replaced the sim card twice, and I went too the Apple store where they told me they don't know what's wrong with the phone and offered me to get a new iPhone 6s for around $400... Very weird and frustrating.

@Mlokheye 55: As you have done both Koodo SIM swaps and hardware check with Apple, the logical thought is the hardware was the issue.

Have you tried to use the SIM in another phone?

I have, and the SIM is working fine in other phones. It's just frustrating that I have to get a new phone just for this issue because the phone is functioning normally otherwise. I'm just curious if it might be a software bug if I'm not the only one who is having this problem.

@Mlokheye 55: was your phone unlocked? if Apple people said they might need to replace your phone. As the cost is around $400, I assumed your phone was out of warranty.

It is hard to tell, I would suggest you try another SIM from another provider and see if it is ok. if not, then you got a bad iPhone.
