I have the Samsung discover. I recently just bought an 8g sd card. And I can't seem to get anything onto the sd card. Everything goes to my external memory, please help!

Have you tried it on your PC ensuring it's not the SD card itself that's the problem?

Yes it works fine on the computer. My hubby tried it in his phone. And worked fine for him!

I'm not familiar with that particular device, but did you go into the storage settings & try mounting/unmounting it?
Failing that, I'd recommend you go to a Koodo shop & try one of their SD cards, or try one from your husband's device.

I'm assuming you mean everything goes to INTERNAL memory, since external memory would be the SD card, but can you confirm this?

Have you tried to format or re-format the microSD card? The option should appear under: Settings > Storage - there should be an option to Format SD card. If that option isn't available, you can try formatting the microSD card through your computer

Some brands of microSD cards work better than others, I use brands like Kingston, Lexar and Transcend, I'd stay away from lesser known or no-name brands. If my previous suggestions don't resolve the problem and you're within the 14-day exchange period, I would suggest exchanging the device.
