The alarm won't sound on my Samsung Galaxy SIII. I can see that the alarm is going off but there is no sound. Volume on both the phone and the alarm is on all the way. What am I doing wrong?

when you set the alarm you cranked up the alarm volume right?
Is the alarm sound set not to silent but an actual sound?
Do you have it set to slowly gain volume?
Try a different sound that might be louder also.

Do you have headphones plugged in or Bluetooth headphones paired? Unpair n try again.

Kid Android ... both phone and the alarm tone cranked up. Tried changing tones as well as type of alarm (melody only, melody and vibration etc). Thanks for replying..

Blocking mode is like the Do Not Disturb feature on the iphone.

Go to Setting and notification panel > tap the blocking mode option to enable or disable. If the mode is active, the widget turns green
