Samsung Galaxy S2X battery life - Jellybean

Hi there,
I have a Samsung Galaxy s2x, and upgraded to Jellybean a few weeks back. The battery life after the upgrade was awful. Tried watching what was running (e.g. Google Now), adjusting brightness, etc, but to no avail. Koodo sent me a new battery, and it doesn't seem to be much better. In addition, when it says it is fully charged, I unplug it, and it sometimes drops down to 93 to 95% right away. Any ideas what I can do at this point? Can I undo that last upgrade?

Lot of SAMSUNG Galaxy S2X users are complaining about battery draining when they update to Jellybean like in this post and many others.

Hey Jason, just to answer your question quickly, software upgrades for the operating system cannot be undone.

If you see a good answer, give it a star.

So what is the solution here? Am I to understand that because I upgraded my phone, I am left with a phone that is worse than it was before? I'm still paying for this thing!

If it's anyone you want to blame, blame the manufacturer.

Do this at your own risk, I'm not responsible for any damage to your phone, although it should be quite straightforward if you diligently follow the following instructions:

It doesn't have the stock Koodo ICS on that link, only the Telus (which I would imagine would be identical), but if you want, here's s link to the Koodo stock ICS for ODIN: (if an ad by Adfly pops up, wait a few seconds for the "skip ad" button to appear in the top right hand corner of the screen)

I should tell you, I've not done this personally as I've had no reason to.
