Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Black Screen of Death

I have the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge which out of nowhere decided to reboot and got stuck in an endless reboot cycle until it died. I recharged the phone and I can now power it off and on but it again just gets stuck in an endless reboot cycle. I tried all of the troubleshooting tips I could find onine. It won't boot up in safe mode, I can't wipe the cache and I can't even master reset. I think at this point I just have to take it in, but any idea how much this will cost to repair outside of warranty/ would it be worth repairing?

I'd consider it worth it. Odd though that you cannot even get into the boot menu. It should be a lot cheaper than vetting a new similar phone or what you can get used for S7 edges. They will likely use Odin to wipe the device and flash the latest OS. If you are past warranty you could try that if you're feeling up for it. It would save you money. There's a lot of resources online. You could just contact Samsung Canada directly and ask about an estimate.

Please consider holding power and volume down until k the phone restarts. Can take up to a minute. Not sure if you have resolved the issue but just a thought.
