I'm looking at a new phone to replace my Blackberry Z30. Sadly it doesn't look like there will be anymore BB10 phones coming from Blackberry.
I've narrowed my search down to the 2 Samsungs, S5 Neo and A5 and am wondering which might be the better of the 2. The Tab hit on them is the same, $15/month.

I believe the specs are better on the S5 Neo, but honestly I like the look and feel of the A5 more. The S5 Neo just feels really plasticy, where as the A5 has the nicer metal edges and everything. But I would go into a store if possible and take a look at both. Phones are honestly 95% personal preference.

I was looking at them last night and agree the A5 has a better feel to it. Price difference makes it a bit more attractive as well.

Specs are definitely better on the S5 Neo,   Slightly bigger screen and much better resolution.
and the Neo is water and dust resistant.

If the size doesn't matter I'd check out the Moto X Play, its a really sweet device for the price and has a better display and better battery life than either of the Samsung's, better sound and it's running the most recent version of Android, Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Personally I would go with the Moto Play as well.
Price is a lot better.

I agree wholeheartedly. Samsungs also have a bad habit of getting bogged down from the software over time. I wouldn't consider anything below an S6 atm if I wanted Samsung. I'd take the Moto X Play over the Neo anyday. It's 150 less for similar/better specs, and Motorola has an excellent upgrade track record and generally performs better due to near vanilla android. And the A5 is easily 200 dollars overpriced for the specs. The Moto G 3rd gen is SO much better on a cost comparison (240 vs 460). It does have 8gb/1gb of memory/ram vs the A5's 16/2, but it does have a micro SD slot as well and otherwise has identical specs, although the CPU is clocked 200mhz higher in the Moto G. And the Moto G should have marshmallow now I believe. The X Play does. And it's IPx7 water resistant.
