Samsung Galaxy Ace 2x Power Button Has Failed

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2x (GT-7560M) and some issues. A few days ago I noticed that the power/lock button on the side is not responding anymore. I looked up a couple things and tried pulling out the battery and re-inserting, but the power button will not do anything. The only way I can boot up my device is to pull the battery, plug in the powered USB, then re-insert the battery. The power button still will not respond however.
I have had issues with this model before and got it replaced about 5 or 6 months ago for similar issues with the either the home or power buttons. Now I have a feeling that this is just a faulty device in all.
Are these known issues with this model of phone and if so are there any fixes available?

I'm not sure if the power button is a known issue but the Ace 2x is known to have issues Jacques. Is the phone still under warranty? You could try getting it repaired again. But in all honesty, a new device will make your life much easier, I recommend a moto g or a N5.
Note: If you do decide to upgrade, you'll have to pay off your tab if you have one before doing so.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I am thinking an upgrade might be better for me than trying again with this same phone.
