Samsung Account "Session Expired" messages

Samsung S5Neo;
Since last system update (8 days ago), each day I get several of these messages, which I clear. Went to Apps & found Samsung Account App ref., but "do not display messages" is greyed out. Note: I didn't know I had a Samsung account & consequently, I certainly would not be trying to access it. Any info on this?

I believe you are given the option to set up a Samsung account when you first setup your phone. If you want to remove the Samsung account entirely, go to: Settings > Cloud and accounts > Accounts. Tap Samsung account, then tap the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen and select Remove account.

It's possible the upgrade may have signed you out of your Samsung account and needs you to sign back in so that it can continue to sync content with your device. If you would rather keep the account, select Samsung account then choose My Profile. Tap 'Manage Samsung Account'. Confirm your password to sign into your Samsung account. CLOSE window then CLOSE ALL to return to your home screen. This should prevent the 'session expired' message from reappearing.

Samsung Account serves as a secondary method to back up and or restore important information to and from the Samsung Cloud. Some of the items backed up include; contacts, email addresses, calendar, Internet bookmarks, keyboard predictive text data, Samsung Notes, Samsung Pass sign in information, Gallery pictures, videos and stories.
